Cashier / Expo – Johnny Greeko’s (Brantford)

Johnny Greeko’s is currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused team member to join our Brantford location as a Cashier/Expo.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in being part of a strong, efficient team.

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service at the front counter 
• Take and process customer orders accurately using our POS system 
• Answer phones and assist with customer inquiries, including catering orders 
• Assemble and organize orders as an expo to ensure accuracy and quality 
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area 
• Assist with daily food prep, including salads, sauces, and dessert portioning 
• Support team members and step in where needed to ensure smooth and timely service 

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred 
• Comfortable using computers and mobile apps, with the ability to quickly learn POS and scheduling systems 
• Must be reliable with strong attendance and treat scheduled shifts as a commitment 
• Friendly, positive, and professional attitude with strong customer service skills 
• Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours 
• Must be comfortable working under pressure and maintaining urgency 
• Ability to problem solve independently and take initiative before escalating to management 
• Team-oriented mindset with awareness of surroundings and willingness to support coworkers 
• Understanding that customer service is always the top priority, even during busy periods 
• Open availability, including daytime and evening shifts (closed Sundays)

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in their work, and values being part of a reliable, high-performing team.

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking individual with a strong understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate brings energy, efficiency, and consistency to every shift.

Starting wage: $19/hour + tips

• Prepare and cook meat and poultry products to company standards 
• Execute orders efficiently and accurately during service 
• Prepare sides and assist with daily food prep as required 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times 
• Assist with closing duties and end-of-day cleaning 
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations 

• Minimum 2 years of cooking experience required   
• Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
• Must be reliable with strong attendance and treat scheduled shifts as a commitment 
• Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours 
• Must be comfortable working under pressure while maintaining urgency and quality 
• Ability to take direction well and execute tasks efficiently 
• High level of energy, stamina, and sense of responsibility in the kitchen 
• Open availability, including daytime and evening shifts (closed Sundays)
